When I finished my 2nd Year for Summer, I took part in the PANI competition for students at the University of Ulster who study Visual Communication, Communication Advertising and Marketing or Communication Advertising. We had the opportunity to work with a design agency and were paired with Ardmore Advertising, who are based in Holywood, Belfast.
Our project aim was to create a new advertising campaign for the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service. Our aim was to change the 'guilt' method that had already been done in the past and tried to target the audience that was researched to least likely give blood. This is people under the age of 35.
